About the Course

With SkillMe we can provide you with the opportunity to gain the qualifications needed to go onto study a university degree at a higher national diploma (HND) or higher national certificate (HNC) level. These diplomas can be the bridge you need in order to get back into education whether you have missed parts of your early school education, experienced a disruption in your education or you may have settled in the UK without the recognized qualifications you need.

This course is provided by West London College and the qualifications are accepted by all the UK universities. With a success rate of 90% this may be an opportunity to grow and or start your career. In the case your basic skills are not enough for access to the higher education diplomas, a pre-access to higher education diploma can be pursued prior. ACCESS TO HIGHER EDUCATION DIPLOMA (NURSING)

This course is meant for those who intend to progress to higher education. This is course is suited to those want to work as a nurse of one of the four branches: adult; children; mental health; or learning disability. You also have the opportunity to branch into a range of specialist career paths such as Health Visitor, Oncology Nurse etc.

Requirements

Minimum 2 GCSEs grade A-C in Maths and English or an equivalent Functional Skills level 2 equivalent. If you do not have the entry requirement the following route in order to progress to the Access to HE programmes:

Complete a two year programme:
Year 1: Studying GCSE English and Maths
Year 2: Access to HE Diploma

If English is not your first language, you should have a minimum of 6.00 in IELTS alongside a UK or equivalent international qualification (a NARIC check will be required).
